It's not a few days...

Hi

Would you say that the following sentence spoken by a doctor sounds correct and natural?

It's not a few days, sir. Months of stress and tiredness have been accumulating in you.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: If you don't find it OK, please edit it.

It's fundamentally correct and understood. Personally I would revise it slightly:

It's not just a few days, sir. Months of stress and fatigue have been accumulated in you.

A passive voice makes it more appropriate in my opinion.

It depends on your culture of course, but I've never heard a doctor call anyone Sir.

accumulated ... or passive voice I don't find them very natural here.

'Months of stress and fatigue have been building up in you/have built up in you'
