I don’t believe people should serve 2 years in the military. A few reasons why, one not every citizens wants to be in the military. In doing this it would make this society not a free country. Another reason it would raise the national debt to all time high. Lastly it may bring more trouble in the .

The reason why I say that citizens wouldn’t serve because of what they know and have learned though out life. I say if this idea were established at the begin of our great nations history then it wouldn’t baffle people today. In forcing the people to serve is taking their freedoms. Also if this were you must ask your self would the American society even pass the fitness or even the written test.

Oh yes, another reason this is not a great idea. In do this it would raise the nation debt to all time high. You say how, the government would have to pay for a great deal of stuff. For example, they would have to pay for the training need to serve and protect the country, housing will be needed during the time of training, and of course they would have to pay for the feeding of the soldier to keep up their strength. Also we can not for we people ask the government to pay for their education. In some of the careers their education may take up to eight or nines. As long as the government is paying for school people will not pay for it themselves.

In us having people serve in the military it cause other problems. One more attacks to our home land. Other countries would fear us even more because of our large military. Another reason is it may cause corruption in the down fall of our nation such as great .
