Grammar

It's just possible that we might be going away that weekend.

A: I was wondering if you could come on Monday instead. It's just possible that we might be going away that weekend.

2 weeks later....

A: I told the handyman not to come on Sunday since it was just possible that we might be going away that weekend.

Does the dialogue sound natural? Also, is the part in bold grammatical?

Thank you

Thanks CalifJim.

It's just that I wasn't sure whether that sentence in bold had to be altered if it was referring to the past.

No -- just the change from is to was, which you already did. might stays the same.
You could have changed might be to might have been, but that's just another alternative, and it really doesn't sound as good. What you have is fine.
