It's hard to catch up with you-Please help with this question.

Hi

It's been a while since the I posted a question last time.

It was a great help and I am asking for your help one more time.

There must have been a lot of questions about 'catch up' but I hope mine is new.

Let's say I want to get together with a friend for a talk who I haven't seen for a while because she/he has been so busy.

Is it common to say "It's hard to catch up with you." in the case?

Or are there more common (or right or better) expressions for this?

Thank you for your answers in advance.
