Hello everyone. Please let me know .... Which of the following is correct?

Top answer

Some people accept all three. Personally, I'm a little doubtful about the last one (C). It's not quite right in American English, but if someone said it in context I might not even notice anything wrong about it.

Thank you Califjim. As you answered then all of them can be somehow correct. Then in fact you mean such a multiple choice is wrong because it has more than one correct choice. And also the fourth alternative was given by Anonymous.
However can you choose the best choice among these three? The one you think is the best choice?

A. It's essential that everyone should be here on time.

sunny123it has more than one correct choice
Yes, for the general reader. However, if the question is given to a group of students who have been instructed that there is only one way to express that thought, then for that group of students there is only one answer.

My guess is that the test makers expect B as the one correct answe

If it is within the context of subjunctives then "B" is the only answer.

I was going to put "check marks" instead of the letter P there. But I don't know how to type "check mark" here in this site.
