It's been a while since I enjoyed this taste?

Please look at the two following sentences.

[1] It has been a while since I've enjoyed this taste.
[2] It has been a while since I enjoyed this taste.

Are both of them okay in grammar? I've eaten this particular fruit first since in July of 2 years ago. (Is this sentence I've made wrong due to "first",either?)
Which sentence in the above ones is better?

Thank you for your teaching in advance.

You will hear both from natives, but #1 is ideal.
