Its as a pronoun

Hi Everyone,

I'm a bit stuck on the following sentence:

'The song is a hit. It's constantly being played on the radio.'

Should - it's - be its because it's the pronoun for song, or should it stay as - it's - meaning, it is?

Thanks

'The song is a hit. It is constantly being played on the radio.'
The antecedent of "it" is "song."

You need the helping verb "is" in the sentence.

The subject is "it."
We make the contraction of "it" + "is" = It's
