It's an honour....?

Hi! everyone.
Could you tell me what is the correct way of saying this?
Scenario-:Someone uploaded a pic of a famous cricketer (with his bat in action) in his facebook profile. As soon as I noticed the way he was holding his bat I had an urge to comment something like that-: "It's an honour(for me) as that's similar to how I normally hold the cricket bat "
Is the above colored sentence possible?
What is the other way of describing this?
Thanks!

You could say facetiously, 'He learned how to hold his bat from me!'
