It's All Relative

If I say I think somebody is pretty and another person thinks he or she is ugly, it's all relative, right?
The Rolling Stones are the best -- No! The Beatles are! It's all relative.
I think it's quite mild today -- No, I actually think it's a bit chilly. It's all relative.

In other words, everything is quantifiable in terms of individual perception -- everybody has a different viewpoint or opinion as to what is hot, cold, ugly, pretty, etc.

Back in 1970, my uncle bought a car for $1,900. Today, that same make and model goes for $30,000!
It's all relative. Is this a correct analogy?

John is 150 pounds and can bench press 250 pounds. Jack is 300 pounds and can bench press 450 pounds. It's all relative. Is this a correct analogy?

Please explain if I am wrong with this.

Thanks.
