It's a "very well known" problem

This region is very well know within the american and european market.

is the sentence correct? i would write "is very well known" but trying to type "is very well know" on google i've found about 8.650.000 different links........
i feel really confused.

which of the mentionated forms is correct?

The phrase is certainly unacceptable. I have just checked your Google results, and I was shocked to see that there were indeed so many typographical errors—which is all that those are: they failed to type the 'n' in almost all those cases. Your example sentence, in fact, has more than that error.
