-itis

Looking up this suffix in the dictionary, I found Word Cup-itis in the example section. I know what it means but do not know how to use it. Could you give me an example sentence?

A lot of minor illnesses end with the suffix itis , eg sinu sitis , appendic itis , arthr itis . If something bothers us, we can make a slang term by adding itis. eg I've got grammar-itis.
