Italics

Hi,

I often see: let's see what you've got. (can we also say let's see what you have? Is it the same? Can we avoid 'got'?)

2) Do you italicize the apostrophe? Let's say X is the word that is italicized. Now you add 's to X and it becomes X's. Do you simply italicize the whole thing (X as well as 's) or only X?
