Why use "ours" there?

(Bordered paper is a paper of the brand "Bordered". In the book, 'bordered (italics ours) paper " was printed in italics. But why use "ours' there?

There was more than one author of the book or article from which this excerpt was taken. Therefore, "ours" rather than "mine".

If I quote from another source, I may wish to emphasize a word or phrase with italics or underlining which did not appear in italics or underlined in the original. I want to alert the reader to this fact, so I add "italics mine" or "emphasis mine". Here's an

For example, you quoted ' I remember the moon like smoke on the river".
And you just emphasized "moon" or "smoke"?

I don't think anyone quoted "I remember the moon like smoke on the river".

In the sentence beginning "As CalifJim said," do you see that "emphasize" and "not" and "original" are all in a different style of print? Is this not visible at your computer?
