It was supposed to led to some changes in Valor's exploits

h and seeding the U.P. worlds so that 30th century history would play out as it was supposed to. However, history was playing out much earlier than it was supposed to which led to some changes in Valor's exploits.

I'd dearly love to know what role "which" plays in my example.

Thank you in advance for your help.
