Do I use sencences starting "It was included ~" not "It included~"?

If it would be "yes", pls give me some examples.

Sentences could start in either of these ways. "To include" is a transitive verb, so it can easily take passive forms.

Examples:

I remember where I found that map: it was included in the papers you gave me.
