It was found hang in his bedroom?

Please look at the following sentence I've seen in a newspaper yesterday morning.

"A popular 12-year-old schoolboy was found hang in his bedroom by his brother after his mother confiscated his mobile phone, showed an inquest heard Thursday"

[Q1] Could you tell me whether the above sentence is right in grammar? I think it is wrong because....

[Q2] I think the reporter has to put "to" between "found"and "hang" or made "hang" to "hanging" I mean like this.
My thought) A popular 12-year-old schoolboy was found to hang in his bedroom
My thought) A popular 12-year-old schoolboy was found hanging in his bedroom
Am I wrong? Because that "hang" is not an adjective, but is a verb, he can't write like that.
For more certainty, when seeing sentences related to usages of "find" in my dictionary, they have "to infinitive" or "gerund"
eg) Her blood was found to contain poison
eg) The thief was found stealing things under scrutiny
eg) He was found lying unconscious on the road

[Q3] If the reporter used "showed" as a meaning of "appear", "showed" has been an intransitive verb. Then, should he not have written like this?
My thought) ....., showed in an inquest heard Thursday.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

"showed an inquest" is not correct. And are you keeping "heard"?

I'm using "inquest" as a noun here, and showed an "inquiry/invesigation/inquest" sounds OK to me; please correct me if I'm wrong.

Moreover, "heard" can be used here as "all the facts came to light when the investigation was put forward(=heard)"; No?

That's right; there was no showing. An inquest (heard)(was told) Thursday.

I'm using "inquest" as a noun here, It is a noun. and showed an "inquiry/invesigation/inquest" sounds OK to me; please correct me if I'm wrong. "showed" is wrong. The inquest heard some testimony; it didn't decide or show anything yet.
