It was a month ago ...

I have to complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first one, using the word given.

I applied for the job a month ago. (MONTH)

It ..................................... I applied for the job.

I think it's 'was a month ago that (when?)' , am I right?

And what about 'has been a month since', it that correct?

TIA

It is a month since I applied for the job. but still it is best to wait for a native to answer it.

what about the unoriginal one, nona?

has been a month since, I'm sure that this is the correct answer because there is a similar exercise in the fce exam, and this the correct form.
