"it sounds like fun." or "it sounds like a fun."

Hi, I'm wondering which one is correct, and why it is correct? thank you in advance!

"Fun" is uncountable stuff. I've never heard of "a fun."

You may use "fun" as an adjective, as well as a noun: "It sounds like a fun thing to do"
("Thing" is a countable noun.)

You could also say, "That sounds like some fun - lots of fun."
It may be quantified, but not counted. (You can't have three funs.)
