Apple seems to have / It seems that Apple has contradicted the prediction of Wall Street anlysts, who felt that the tiny company would not be able to compete with the bigger PC manufacturers like Dell and IBM. But unlike the PC companies, Apple's profits have continued to grow over the last three quarters. It appears that this is due/ This appears to be due in part to Apple's ability to produce new products that are a hit with the both the younger and older generations. The Ipod is an excellent example of this. It has been a big sucess with young and old. It seems that everyone likes/ Everyone seems to like the idea of tuning out the world around them and listening to their own tunes.
Q) I don't know why the rule is not consistent. Could you explain why?
