Hi,
could you tell me if this sentence is correct? I am not sure if "even if" is well used here.
"It seemed to be a normal day, even if it was my birthday."

I think I'd go for 'even though' instead of 'even if' in this context. Another option could be 'although'. And happy birthday to you Magda, btw...

I think I'd go for 'even though' instead of 'even if' in this context. Another option could be 'although'.
