It: meaning "popular", "great", "the best"

I recently heard that the pronoun "it" can be used (in American English) to mean "popular", "great", "the best". My question: Does "it" sound natural/correct in the examples I made below in everyday conversation?

a. That football player is it. He scores lots of goals and is a great person.
b. I love chocolate. To me, chocolate is it.
c. This is the new it movie that just opened at the theater. Let's watch it.
d. Anna is the it woman at the company. She's beautiful, popular and knowledgeable. Everybody likes her.

Thank you in advance!
