Hi!

Is the following sentence gramatically correct?

"It looks like that Japanese people like traveling."

Does above sentence have the same meaning as "Japanese people seem to like traveling."?

Is the following sentence gramatically correct? You need to make one change.

"It looks like that Japanese people like traveling."

It looks like THOSE Japanese people like traveling. (plural; you are talking about more than one person)

(no "that," if you want it to mean like the 2nd)
but I don't like the repetition of "like" anyway.

Or, better:
"It seems that Japanese people like traveling."

Now I understand "that" is not necessary because "like" serves as a conjunction.
