This will cost you a few hundred dollars, but it is worth it over the long term.

There are two it pronouns in the but-clause above. The first is the subject, the second one a complement in the AdjP.

Is This the antecedent of the "it" following "but", and a few hundred dollars the antecedent of the "it" following worth?
