It is time to acknowledge that you, ...

Hello;

It is time to acknowledge that you, (name); a typical example to follow, decent, humane, the kind I hope and pray is in the real majority, have made a great contribution help me grow strong. Many good personality traits molded into one person, Y-O-U. Words can't express how much I do owe a lot to you. I am fortunate to have you & proud of you not only as a great supporter but also as a good mentor that I have ever seen.
When unfortunate circumstances put me in a position where I have had no one to turn to, and those the so-called friends who were supposed to be more of help, unfortunately abandoned me. They only making/using lame excuses as a reason to get away with; not progress. You stood by my side when I had a hard time, and offered me moral and financial support. You are really a real fabricator.
Friends are supposed to be more of help/to be of more help; otherwise why we have them? You, (name), have always be there and knew what friendship is. When you felt needed, you are a man who makes things happen. You know that taking care of other people's problems, God will take care of your in turn. You know well that God created us credit our services to each others as a service to Him. More importantly, when things go wrong; I hang on to my hope in you. I put you so high on a pedestal.

I would like your help with improving this thank you letter.

I suggest that you rewrite this letter using much simpler English. This will hopefully result in fewer mistakes and better style. To be honest, I really don't see much point in proofreading your original draft.
