It is not impossilbe to use 'remained' adjectively, is it, please

Hello,

I'm confused about something. Is it possible to use 'remained' adjectively, please?

For example, is it possible to say/write "consider the remained options"?

Actually, the full sentence was: While answering a question, you should first leave the options which you think are inappropriate/incorrect out and then you should consider the remained options.

No. 'Remaining'.

Thanks, teacher. Thank you very much for your response. But I've learnt that the past participle (or the 3rd) form of a verb can be used adjectively as well. Is what I have learnt wrong, please? Could you explain to me a little why 'remained' isn't possible there, please?

Thank you.

Only some can. Anyway, you must decide whether the adjectival quality is the result of a finished action (-ed) or whether it continues within the noun. In this case, the options continue to 'remain', so they are remaining options.
