It has me know the relationship between the case and something / someone.

In this sentence "In that case I won't take the job." I interpret the sentence as : I hate that attitude which causes them not to offer me much money. -----He hates that cause not that result.

Does it mean the dangers made of smoking / somking is for making the dangers

2. another example of this entry: This narrow bridge is a danger to traffic.
Does it mean: In a traffic perspective, this narrow bridge is the cause of a danger.
