﹢It is an increasing trend of businesses to neglect the environment to futher their profits. What reason behind this. What measures could resolve them

  • It is true that many plants these days have a tendency to ignore the side effects of their production on natural home and focus on their turnovers. While it is a serious problem, it can be solved by enforcing an environmental law on all bussinesses
  • The main cause of their neglecting environment is that the businesses lack of enthusiasm to protect our habitat, in which thousands of creatures live. To be more specific, they don’t have a clearly contrived scheme to lessen the hazardous substances rooted from their production. Most of their budget are mainly alloted for developing the technology which can make more lucrative products and earn them more and more profit. While the sum total of waste expelled has grown in number and size, they have only invest the small expense on treating waste. For example, Vedan factory used to expell untreated waste water comed from their operations into DongNai River in oder to earn them additional profit
  • However, there are solutions to this matter. One of the ways to limit the plants’ laziness to protect environment is implementing an environmental law on whole businesses. In other words, the companies damaged the eco-system have to incur a punishment such as higher tax about environment from local goverment. The entire amount of money earned from this method may be used effectively to build a sound environmental strategy such as building factories of recycling garbage. In fact, Vedan factory, which posed pollution of DongNai river had to be punished because of their destruction
