It is amazing that Alex should run fast.

Dear all,

Please see the following sentences. I saw these sentences in a video explaining various uses of 'should'. But regarding the following sentences, they are not being explained in which contexts they can be used. I think that the context of the first sentence may be (a) Instead of going to work, Alex simply hanging out with his friends. Being a well wisher of Alex I am saying to his friend "Alex should be at work now". I am unsure about its correctness. But regarding the second sentence, I can't find a suitable context. I'd like to get your opinion on this.

Alex should be at work now.
