It is acceptable to use ‘used,’ ‘arose,’ and ‘imparted’ in the following sentences, isn’t it? If not, what words should I use, then? I'm not a native speaker of English.

  1. Hamilton, the tribal teacher, used bilingual instruction/teaching.
  2. Cruise allowed the students to speak in the vernacular as the need arose.
  3. Jessica imparted words of wisdom to the children.
