It is about using "around" with some verbs.

Hello everyone.I have two questions about use of around with some verbs. Are these examples correct gramatically and equal to what I want to mean? 1-) I came around the garden to the school.I mean that "I came from the area of the garden to the school." 2-) The sun bends around the cave to the right.I mean that "The sun bends to the right direction by going around the cave. The light of the sun doesn't enter into the cave." Additionally, Is there anything like "from around" ?Thank you very much.
