It is a proud feeling

Dear all,

I saw the following sentence in our WhatsApp group. These are the words of an English postgraduate holder. Here could you please tell me whether the usages "a proud feeling" and "move towards adopting our cultural heritage" are correct?

"It is a proud feeling to see the younger generation of the family move towards adopting our cultural heritage with such ease and beauty."

cat navy 425 Here could you please tell me whether the usages "a proud feeling" and "move towards adopting our cultural heritage" are correct? It is grammatical, but it reads like a mission statement by a committee of non-native speakers. It is oblique, and I'm not sure you can adopt a heritage.
