it hurts / it is hurting

Hi there! Another word I have not made friends with.
I wonder if I can say: "It hurts" and "It is hurting"
Or if I can ask: "Does it hurt (badly)" or "Is it hurting (badly)"

Me: It still hurts, though not as much as it hurt yesterday.

Husband: Is your back hurting a lot right now?
Me: Yes, I really hurts a lot right now.

Husband: Are you okay?
Me: Oh, my back hurts a little.
Husband; It's been hurting for a while, hasn't it? Maybe you should see a doctor.

It hurts and Does it hurt? are perfectly fine. Your other two examples are acceptable but less natural and common, in my opinion.
