it has been hectic

Some people emailed me and said: "It has been hectic in my company for weeks now".

I know this is a correct sentence.

But can I say :"Hi, I know it has been hectic in your company for weeks"? Is this offensive?

Not at all. Go ahead and use it, if you know it to be so.

Thanks, but is hectic a good word?

Sure, it's a good word. But if you're worried about it, just say "thing have been busy."
