It has been done or this has been done

Somebody requested me to do something. After it is done, I replied to him as below.

"It has been done".

I wonder whether it should be "This has been done" .

Dad told me to cut down the big tree and stack all the large logs for firewood in the woodshed. This has been done.
He also told me to strip all the leaves from the small branches and make bundles of kindling. That has not been done.
