It has been a real joy getting to know you.

If someone tells you "It has been a real joy getting to know you"

Does it mean it was nice meeting you and that is as far as getting to know you goes. No future intended.

Or does it imply something like I am enjoying getting to know you, nothing else nothing more implied.

Hi, It all depends, really, on the context in which it is said, and on how it is said. eg If the speaker says it while rushing out the door, it doesn't mean much. eg If the speaker says it while holding you in his or her arms, it means a lot.
