Hello! Dave Phillips:What does this phrase mean by “ had to of left at...”>>>>> I try to get your thought for another sentence. "" It has been 2 days since he returned."" is not equal to ""It has been 2 days sine he was back".... Right? Thanks again.

He was there. For him not to be there now he has to leave at some point.

'It has been 2 days since he was back' isn't a correct sentence. 'It has been 2 days since he returned' and 'he came back 2 days ago' is the same.

It isn't grammatically correct.
