It feels wild??

Hi
I'm Cuneyt from Istanbul,Turkey.
I wonder in which situations we use these type of sentences. For example you has gone a holiday and you see a landscape and you say "It feels wild" but here as far as I understand
the landscape make you feel wild.
I will be glad If you give explanations with more examples.................

"Wild" is a word that can mean different things depending on how it is used - my dictionary lists 16 different meanings! A wild landscape is one that has not been cultivated, but left to nature. A wild sea is rough and windswept. A wild animal is one that is not a pet or a farm animal. If you say that a person is wild, you mean that they are badly behaved or that they have lost their temper and are being violent. You can probably see that all these meanings are connected, but there are subtle differences between them.

Here are some examples:

1. 'It feels wild' = 'it feels a long way from civilization'.

'I love the Australian outback...it feels so wild and remote...'

'Much of Dakota still feels wild and free and a long long way
from lemon chicken bagels in LA...'

2. 'It feels wild' = 'it feels exhilaratingly chaotic'.

'When you see everything going up in flames, everything,
credit card statements, diaries, old college essays, love letters,
pay checks, personal ID, it feels wild...'

3. 'It feels wild' = 'it feels like something you shouldn't be saying/doing'.

'It feels wild when you say it, but it's true. They just shouldn't
be allowed to breed. Not in this neighbourhood, anyhow.'

4. 'It feels wild' = 'I like that very, very much. Please do it again.'

Common in films and novels of an 'adult' nature. Best avoided in
other contexts.

This phrase does have a slightly exaggerated air, and is likely to
make people want to slap you (unless you use it in context 4, in
which case you are probably already being slapped).
