It and/or that?

A: Do you know she is going to marry next week?

B: Yes. I know ___.

In the sentence B, do you say "that" or "it"? Or either will do?
Also, when you say "I heard about ___" in a similar context, which would you use, it or that (or either one will do)?

Thanks,
