I wonder which way is correct?
1/ The GDP contributed from IT and service industry was ...
2/ The GDP contributed from IT and service industries was ...

These seem like two separate industries to me. 1/ The GDP contributed from the IT and service industry was ... But it doesn't seem to correct to say that an industry contributes a GDP.
