Is/are

First I thought it was IS but looking at it......which refers to examples, so wouldn't it be "are"? examples which are given.......? Thanks in advance for any help......

The old feudal system is one of the examples which is/are given a theoretical basis by the analysis framework of historic economics.

i think it should be "are". coz the clause is to describe "the examples".
