Is Youtube a good tool? I'm going to transcribe videos to improve my listening.

Hi.

I have been watching Youtube for a long time, and now I can understand much more than when I just began. But of course it is almost impossible for me to understand all of them. And Youtube has a lot of different types of videos and I think it is a very good tool and want to take advantage of it.

So I am planning to begin transcribing different types of videos until I can understand any type of videos on Youtube just by watching them one time. And then I will put all of the videos that I have transcribed online so that other learners can have an easy time watching and learning.

So this is an ESL forum, I wonder if there is any native speaker here? Because I am pretty sure that I can't understand any one video from the beginning to the end and I may need help.

If you guys are willing to help me, I am sure I will do my best and I will be encouraged a lot. Because if nobody corrects my mistakes or fill out what I can't catch, it will be impossible for me to carry on and keep working on this.

And if you help me study , you are not only helping me because the results are also available for other learners. I just want to make sure if there is anyone here is native speaker that is willing to help me. If there is, I will begin doing that. I appreciate that.

Hello 8989, and welcome to English Forums. Members often post YouTube clips here when they need help with a few words or phrases, and there are plenty of native speakers aboard. Keep in mind, however, that the more transcription you ask for from a video, the fewer members there will be who are willing to invest the time required.
