Is Whom correct in this sentence?

Hi,

I'm very confused whether to use who or whom in this sentence. Could you please say if it is okay to use whom here?

Selene was new to the office and didn't know whom to talk to.

Top answer

anonymous Selene was new to the office and didn't know whom to talk to. Correct — especially in the context of an exam. Note, however, that in a casual setting you can use 'who'.
