"is wearing" or "wears"

Hello everyone.

Could you please evaluate each of the following two sentences depending on whether it is natural? --

(A) Tom is wearing different clothes whenever I see him.
(B) Tom wears different clothes whenever I see him.

Top answer

(A) is the more natural of the two. (B) might even suggest that Tom changes clothes when you see him. At least that's how I see them.
