1. Which of the sentences above are correct?

While I was waiting for an answer here, I tried to search about dependent clauses on the web. I found one saying there's no future in dependent time clauses. Please clarify.

At first, I thought B and C were the only ones possible.

Notice CJs comments in the thread of your first link. The 'rule' is too prescriptive. Native speakers normally use present for future in dependent clauses, but there is no rule demanding it.
