Is "vote" a verb or noun in this sentence?

Where are you going?
I am going to vote.

Is "vote" a verb in the sentence above? If yes, we're talking about the BE GOING TO future. If not the thing probably happening in the moment of speaking.

I would be grateful for any suggestion. Thank you!

'Vote' is a verb, but we do not have a BE going to future here. "I am going to vote" is equivalent in meaning to "I am going to the polling station to vote".
