Is "through" the rigth preposition in this sentence?

"Biomechanically, shoulders are connected to the neck through the superficial muscles of the neck, such as the upper trapezius, lateral scapula, and small rhombuses. Neurophysiologically, eye-head-hand function as a unit whose activities are coordinated through reflective neural pathways."
