Is thos correct?

'There are lots of expatriates there belonging in all walks and stations of life from high ranking officials to the labor class.'
Is this sentece correct in every way? If not, could you suggest an alternate way to structure it.

There are no labor class expatriates living near high ranking officials, so then unless you are talking about the foreign exchange bank lobby where they all pick up their monthly pensions, there is no such place. Also no expatriate could become a high ranking official, so it would be:
