Is this your first time you have tried this food?
VS.
Is this your first time trying this food?

I think both means the same or is there a meaning difference between them? Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

They both mean the same thing.
The first one is not grammatical. You need "Is this the first time you have tried this food?"
Edit: I would better have said, "The first one is not idiomatic."

Unlike #1, #2 could be said before consumption.
