Is this written OK? And are my word choices natural?

One time when I was arguing with my boyfriend on the phone he got so angry that he hurled his phone against a wall. I got so startled by the sound that I stumbled backwards and crashed into some moving boxes that were stacked behind me.

Hi That's all good except for 'moving', toward the end. I understand that you mean that the boxes were not firmly stacked so, as soon as you backed into them, they started to fall. You can't use 'moving' there because it looks as if the boxes were already moving, before you fell against them.
