Is this wording correct for a legal document?

Hi,

The phrases used for legal documents confuse me. As such, I am unsure whether or not the below is actually a grammatical error or a standardized legal phrase:

"KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

(Company), a company duly recognized and existing under and by virtue of (country) laws, with principal place of business at (address), represents by its (company position), (name), hereinafter referred to as the COMPANY."
I am inclined to believe it is supposed to say "represented by". I would appreciate any insight.

Thank you.

I went with "represented" since I luckily came across a legal document that used the said term. Thank you for your input.
